The Joggers World Fun Run Series features a program of four races on a standardised
2km course around Rymill Park, Park 14 (Mullawirraburka) and is open to runners and
walkers of all abilities. By entering the four race series, you have the chance to
measure your improvement as the same course is used for each race.
Everyone is welcome to join in! Whether you like walking,
are a beginner jogger, an elite runner, or a triathlete, this a fun way
to measure your progress. You can choose between a 2km, 4km or 8km run or 4km walk.
Another great reason to come out to the Joggers World Fun Run Series is that we donate proceeds at the end of the 4 race series to Canteen - The Australian Organisation for Young People Living With Cancer. It's a very worthy cause that we're proud to be supporting.
Race Details
• Registration will take place at the race venue between 7.45am and 8.45am. ALL Competitors must register at this time.
• There will be separate start times for each event distance. You will be advised of event start times at Registration.
• A compulsory race briefing for all competitors will be conducted 15 mins prior to the start of each event.
Age Categories (Date of Birth Rule)
Competitors in the individual or school team competitions will need to work out their age as at 7 September 2009
to determine which age category to register in.
Series Winners
Competitors must compete in all four races over the same distance to be eligible for series winner.
All competitors will receive 1 point for competing in each event. Additional points will be awarded to the top 6 Male & Female placegetters. 1st = 6 points to 6th = 1 point.
Series Winners will be presented with an engraved glass after Race 4.
Random Draw Prizes
All participants must remove race number and place in barrel immediately after finishing race. Random prizes drawn at the end of each event. Winner must be present to receive prize.

• Teams of 4 runners
• Open - 4 runners x 4km each (Date of Birth rule applies, see above)
• Under 14 – 4 runners x 2km each (Date of Birth rule applies, see above)
• All entrants must be current students at nominated school.
• Fastest 3 runners awarded points
• Schools can nominate more than 1 team
• Each team must have different name.

• All Male, All Female or Mixed (2 Females & 2 Males)
• 4 runners x 2km each (8km Relay)
